New Life TeethYour Patient Guide

Where your smile is supported for life

Treatment is just the beginning

Our care does not end when your treatment is complete. Your new smile requires regular professional maintenance and long-term support, which is why we remain beside you throughout healing, final fitting and the years that follow. And we will be honest with you: dental implants are not a fit-and-forget treatment.

Clinical aftercare

Protecting your smile for the long term

Regular clinical reviews and professional hygiene are essential to protect the health of your implants, gums and final teeth. After treatment, we guide you through a structured programme of healing reviews and ongoing care. Once your final teeth are fitted, you should attend at least one annual clinical review and implant hygiene appointment, or more frequently if advised by your clinical team.

The quality of treatment is not measured only on the day your teeth are fitted, but by how well they function over time. Your final fitting is not the end of our care — it is the beginning of a long-term partnership.

Your aftercare includes

  • Scheduled reviews throughout healing
  • Annual implant and gum health assessment
  • Professional cleaning around and beneath your bridge
  • Checks of your bite, bridge and implant stability
  • X-rays or additional imaging when clinically required
  • Early support if you notice discomfort, movement or changes

Support from people who understand

Connect with patients preparing for surgery, recovering after treatment, wearing temporary or trial teeth, and living with their final Prettau Zirconia smile. Read honest accounts of the complete journey, ask questions and share concerns. Many patients tell us this sense of connection is one of the most reassuring parts of their journey.

Direct access, honest conversation

Our clinicians, patient coordinators and wider care team are active within the app, so you know where to turn when you need information, guidance or reassurance. Patients share the positive moments as well as the more difficult days. There is no expectation to feel a particular way — what matters is that you feel heard, understood and supported throughout.

When to get in touch

Early support, whenever you need it

Contact your clinic promptly if you notice bleeding or swelling around the gums or implants, persistent soreness, a change in your bite, difficulty chewing or speaking, a feeling that the bridge has moved, or any damaged or rough area on the bridge. You will have a direct contact number from the day of surgery onwards — you are not expected to manage the process alone.
